Tax Consultant registration

I am LLB graduate & registered with Bar council....and I wish to practice in Income tax & Sales tax Consultant.
My question is after registration with Bar council, any need for registration with authority of income tax department and sales tax department...?
Please guide me.....

You can practice in taxation. Apply to the departments.

There is no requirement that you should register either with Income Tax Department or Sales Tax Department. Only requirement is you should have Vakalatnama from the client.
