How to prevent my movie story from being copied?

Hi.I have written a movie story. I am afraid it will be pirated by movie makers. How should I make my story safe from being copied? I am not financially strong for making story copyright...Please help me..Thanks in advance :)

Register it under copyright act with the registrar to protect your document.

Say it is a story,it becomes a movie story only when the movie is made.If U presume that the story could be copied get the story and the title registered under copy right act.

The query is premature. If you have written story, copy right belongs to you once it is published. However, it becomesit becomes a movie story, only if a movie is made of it.
