Whatever it is,UR son automatically has a right over the property of his mother,if it really exists.U R saying UR son is attaining 18yrs,it is his discretion where to stay.Is he aware that U R still his caretaker?

He also has a right over UR property

If you have property and do not will / sell/ gift it during your life time, your son has right on this property with other legal heirs.

After attaining majority, your son has right to decide whether he want to live with you or his mother.

The query does not suggest any legal issues.

As a father you have taken care of your son. Expectation is another word for frustration.

If the property is absolutely owned by UR wife,UR son has a claim over it.U can't claim on behalf of UR son.
Sivankutty (Querist) 08 August 2015

Dear Sir,

My wife property had been purchased by her brother, he is a military man and immediately transferred it to his wife name. Now what can my son do if he wants the property after he realize that his mother made a mistake/blunder.

Better Try an Amicable Settlement. There is No Much Scope in Legal Battle in your Issue.
SAINATH DEVALLA (Expert) 09 August 2015
Now U are bringing new issue that the property was purchased by her brother, why didn't U put it earlier. If the property was purchased by her brother then why are U after it?
Sivankutty (Querist) 10 August 2015

The entire query seems to be fictitious as every reply of URs is contradictory.
