The rule is that one cannot have more than one such property, so better think your position on legal aspects.
Hemant Agarwal (Expert) 30 October 2016
1. Under the Delhi Societies Act, owning multiple properties would depend on the type /category under which the Society is registered.

2. However, move a appropriate application before the Cooperative Registrar to exercise his discretion to allow to hold multiple properties in the Society. Normally it is not impossible.

Current CGHS membership will not be affected in getting a "gift" of another property in Delhi/NCR under the provisions of Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 2003; Delhi Cooperative Societies Rules, 2007 and/or Bye-Laws adopted by the Cooperative Group Housing Society.

There is no need to approach Registrar Cooperative Societies for the purpose/ subject matter of the query.

Get a copy and refer the respective bye laws.
