Flat registration

Dear Sir
I reside in Guwahati. In 2009 I had given my plot for development. In the agreement it is written that land developer would allot us 4 flats. We thought it was registration. But now when we are asking him about registration he tells us the registration will have to done by us. Is it? And also about paint that it is written that internal walls paint finish to be selected by us. We were thinking that we will select the colour but the builder is refused to do paint. Pls give me a suggestion sir.

contact a local lawyer . get agreement signed by you vetted by a lawyer . registration of agreement is a must . do it even if you have to pay the charges .
