Filing of FIR under section 498a, 313 of IPC and dowry act

I was married on 31/05/2017 and in November we got seperated and on April 7, 2018 I filed divorce petition against my wife on cruelty basis but on 06/02/2019 my wife has filed false dowry case and section 498a and 313 of IPC and named all my family members in it. Now i do not know what to do and how to get my family members safe? Kindly suggest me.

You have two options, either compromise with her agree to keep her on her terms and conditions, or pay her huge sum of money for her to agree for divorce by mutual consent, and withdraw all criminal complaint against you. The litigation in court for divorce will be long exercise and not sure to get you relief, the criminal complaint case may go in your favor but that too take long time. Lots of cost and time in both cases plus harassment.

Conviction in Sec 498 a cases is the lowest of all the cases filed in IPC. As on Dec 2017 more than 80% of Sec 498 A cases had ended up with acquittal only
