Dowry case threat

I'm in job sector in delhi and my brother,his wife and my parents live in kanpur.my brother's wife is threatening to file false dowry case. In case she registers a case how can i keep me and my parents safe from the case, so that we can also legally fight better for my brother.

It is not my wife, it is my brothers wife. My brother's in laws keep demanding money for their business expenses which leads to trouble in my family and to get their demand she threatens for 498a. She is living at my home in kanpur with my parents and brothers.

What are the averments under 498a? You are away and you take shelter under this to some extent. Let us the case come, then you can analyse the allegations and plan protection.
