Dob correction in ssc certificate

Dear sir,

I recently married, actually my wife completed her SSC (10th class) in 2007. In that certificate DOB wrongly printed actual DOB is 01.05.1992 wrong DOB is 14.04.1983. Now I would like to change SSC certificate.Can anyone please guide me. We recently took birth certificate as per original DOB (01.05.1992). Please give any suggestions to make correction.

Correction of DOB in SSC certificate cannot be done now but the rectification can be effected through court order through a declaratory suit for declaring the correct DOB with a direction to concerned authorities to make corrections and rectify.

Please check up with the concerned authorities. There are norms in Kerala for correcting such genuine errors.

Consult the respective Board, all Boards have their own procedure. If the mistake is due to Board fault Board would tell the procedure. otherwise court orders should be obtained to correct the mistake.
