Discrepency in releiving.

Sir I'am working in a startup company(LLP) from 1.3 Years.
They have not mentioned my notice period in offer letter. Now i wanted to leave the company, i had sent a resignation letter to them via Email and they also accepted the resignation and they had also sent me a mail saying that 15-02-2016 will be my last working day. Based on that email i had given a joining date for another company. Now they are saying that we cannot relieve on 15th. What can i do ?

You may try to sort out out the matter amicably failing which, may serve a legal notice.

The confirmation of your relieving shall constitute your next assignment. If you do not get proper relieving order, you may send a legal notice demanding the requisite orders.
