Corrections in passport date of birth

There is a correction in the date of birth.
Please describe the procedure to be followed for changing the date of birth.
It is exactly wrong by one day.

do you have birth certifcate ? make an application to passport office enclsoing copy of birth certifcate ad request for correction in passport

I believe I have to run around courts for orders and thereafter approach passport office along with the same.
