how DOB went wrong on birth certificate and how/when you detected. the same.

On what basis you got revised certificate.

If you have obtained the revised date of birth from Nagar Nigam by producing the proof real date of birth that means - not a managed one - you can serve a notice to the university seeking admission and their written refusal. Basing on their written refusal about the flaw in date of birth you can file a writ petition in the High Court seeking direction to the University to admit your daughter.

It seems there occurred clerical mistake by the staff of Municipal Corporation Aligarh due to which your ward has to suffer.

If you go legally, it may take years in decision of the case. It may be possible due to mistake the University has given the seat to some other candidate.

You should contact the senior officials of the University for a solution.

Send legal notice to AMU, file suit for directing the university to admit the child. Also prey

First of all you will have to fight with the AMU for admission point of view. If they still deny get court order for your daughter's admission based on the revised birth certificate. If you stoll fail in getting admission, only then sue the Nagar Nigam for damages due to issue of wrong birth certificate.

I agree with the views expressed by experts. You may write to the top brass of the university, in case you do not get a favorable reply, then you may choose to initiate appropriate legal action.
