The day has come in India that the marriage is a contract nothing more than that. So both parties should go in that direction so that every point will be covered and there will not be any hitch on the day of divorce, If an act is made with a specific points in contract there will not be so many cases in courts.

I am of the opinion that a husband and wife must at the time make a written commitment that both will work to earn and share home expenses and that they in equal proportions shared the responsibilities of children and home keeping external family members out of reckoning and interference. Only then marriages will survive and there would be little need of muddy divorces with wives asking for maintenance from husband's assets and earnings. There will be trust and bond between the partners. The ones who suffer most from divorces is the psychology of the children. If both love their children then they will not think of breaking the commitment come what may.
