I am a Pediatrician, living in and practising in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra since 1978. I did my MBBS from BJMC in Pune and MD Pediatrics from GMC in Mumbai and then settled into small-town private practice.

I am interested in holistic practice and would like to make the Medical Council of India advise inclusion of an introductory chapter on "herbal remedies" as also "traditional medicine", in the Syllabus of allopathic medical colleges in India.
