Description          : BHEL have their own customized software of different modules to maintain

  -Payroll for their employees,

  -Finance for mainting their finance,

  -SOMS module (Site Operation & Maintance) for mainting Inventory,

  -Claims and Travel Management System which is user for payment of employees 

   different payments other than Salary and extra payments during official travelling to

   other locations.

  And all of these modules run in all of their five Power Sectors (PS) or

   regions, i.e., for PS Eastern Region (HQ at Kolkata), PS Weastern Region (HQ at

   Nagpur), PS Northern Region (HQ at Noida), PS Southern Region (HQ at Chennai),  

  and  PS Head Quarter (at Delhi).

Project             : ERP Solution for Century Pulp & Paper Ltd.

Description         : Working as a senior developer in this project I had done requirement analysis with clients, fixed the requirements, made the database design, and developments using PL/SQL, Forms. Also I had to seat with clients for demonstration of the developments and then finalize the developments using proper test cases in the Item Maintenance module where Department wise Requisition request generation, Indent preparation, Allocation of that Indent person wise, Indent approval, RFQ, Quotation, CIR, GRN Etc. for chemical and non-chemical products are processed.

• Developing of the different parts of product as per requirement of the client – particularly for liquid chemicals in MMS module.

2. Project           : Hospital and Diagnostic Centre Management System.

Role               : Started as a trainee but later worked as a techno-functional

               member of the team – implemented 6 hospital(each more than 50

               bed) & diagnostic centre.

Duration           : December ’06 to December ’08.

Technology         : Oracle 8i, PL/SQL, Developer 2000(4.5 - Forms and Reports).

Description         :Every records of a patient is processed through the system; e.g. admission, physical condition, billing, pathological & non-pathological reporting, etc. Also employee related records are maintained through this system. IP Calculation, Medicine Shop, Store, Kitchen, Laundry are other important modules of the system.

Project Responsibilities:

• Installation - Custom installation of Oracle 8i.
• Development – Development of the product and Maintenances according to the requirement of client.
• Implementation of the product – took part in more than five full cycle implementations (viz. RSV Nursing Home, Sanjivanee, NG Nursing Home, etc.)
• Backup Strategy - maintaining backup strategy using cold, logical, and physical backup.            
• Importing and Exporting of backup data.
