I am deeply interested with the ‘elements’ around me. I find myself questioning the things around me, looking for expression, matter, and meaning. The subjects of Law, Economics, and Political Science attract me due to their power of expression and strategic thinking. I believe in the power of imagination, in social justice and believe in caring for the community at large. This was the driving force that made me opt for special papers like Commercial Transactions, Criminology and Gender Justice. In my sixth semester, I took up Negotiable Instruments as a special paper and this has equipped me with the necessary knowledge to work in the corporate sector.
Having studied at an international school, The British School, New Delhi and later graduating from St.Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, I have cultivated international mindedness and learnt to be a lifelong learner who takes challenges in his stride. Throughout my student life starting from high school, I have worked with NGO’s and in the corporate sector during summer breaks. I can lead a team as well as work as a member. This was evident in my career at St.Stephen’s College where I was the Vice-President of the Computer Society and member of the Music Society, Shakespearean Society and Shakespearean Sabha.Besides this, at all my summer jobs and internships I was recognised and commended for my excellent work ethics, discipline and creativity. I remain a solution-focused and adaptable person in all my dealings with people. I speak English, French, Hindi and Malayalam.
