City-based law firm, Y J Trivedi and Co, has gained international recognition as ''Highly commended law firm of the year in Asia Pacific region'' at the 2009 World leaders international IP awards.
The Company, started by High Court lawyer Y J Trivedi in 1970, specialises in intellectual property rights and patent related issues.
It is the only Indian law firm to receive the recognition, the Company said in a release here.
The award distribution ceremony took place recently at Vinopolis in London.
