Wrong survey number

Respected Lawersclub Advocates and experts,

I had purchased a land from a person say 'X' , but at the time of registration the Survey number. has been mentioned wrong. The seller 'X' is alive. But when i asked him for rectification deed , the person 'X' rejected. So, i took one of the sons of 'X' and again got registered a fresh sale deed with correct survey number .Is this acceptable in the eyes of Law or not.In the first sale deed and in the second sale deed two boundaries are same but two boundary is different.Does the second sale deed is invalid legally or not.

Dear,

Second sale deed is invalid in the eye of law, because the lawful owner is his father(executant of second sale deed) not his son (executant of fist sale deed).

you have one option to get it correct firstly you get all the information from Tehseel (khasra / khatouni / gidavari etc).  Then serve a legal notice to him for correction about the no. of the plot as you mention in your compliant.

then next step to file suit under specific relief act to the effect of sale deed.
