wrong affidavits

I sign the wrong affidevit in my own

Quick Summary
If you've signed the wrong affidavit, the steps to correct it depend on the severity of the mistake and whether it has been submitted to the court. Minor errors can often be rectified by crossing out the incorrect information in front of a notary lawyer, with both parties initialling the change. However, significant errors may require a completely new affidavit to be drafted.

Hello,

If the mistake is not significant, then take the sworn affidavit to the notary lawyer. Correct the mistake in front of the lawyer and correct the mistake with a pen, cross out the wrong information. Write your initials in the margin of the page beside the line you have corrected. The lawyer or the notary will also put their initials there.

If you've made a major error in an affidavit that's already been sworn, you must prepare a whole new affidavit to explain why you've changed your evidence and what your mistake was.

If you any further questions, please ask

Regards,

Joy Bose

Mistake can always be rectified subject to the circumstances which are missing in your query so nothing more can be advised to you.

Incoplete facts can not lead to form an opinion and oblige.

What are the contents of affidavit in question ? Where has the affidavit been filed ?
