In a case under 138 NI Act can a written statement or objection be filed against the complaint petition ?I am defending the accused. If yes , then please help me with some citations.

As this is a criminal case and its procedure is laid down in Act itself so it is not desirable to file a written statement as the same may also be fatal for the accused.
