Work stop notice

I am constructing my house and a work stop notice has been issued to concerned police station by the EE of mcd building department.
should I do something or ignore it.

I live in lal dora colony and I have constructed 3 feet chajja above the govt road. And my neighbour filed a complaint against me by saying it's illegal and unauthorised
