Can an employee on contract withdraw his resignation before its acceptance? Supreme Court in Gopal Chandra Misra says that the general principle is that an employee ought to be allowed to withdraw his resignation in the abscence of contractual or legal bar. Are there any judgments wherein a person under contract was allowed to do so?

Yes an employee can withdraw his resignation even after it is accepted, within one month time.
