Firstly the Decased was of which Religion? Secondly the decesed made his last will and testament and appointed whom as his beneficary?? Executor are only trustee and holding the property as trustees of the deceased? The Will made is in respect of which properties situated in which cities? All this aspect are were importants as Will is governed under Indian Succession Act 1925.  As far as nominee in mutual fund is also a nominee the company will direct the legal heirs of the deceased to obtain Succession Certificate to tranfer the same in favour of the legal heirs of deceased.
