Wife Selling Husband's Property during his lifetime. a valid transaction.

In a Particular case the Wife along with husband's brother has sold the property of the Husband and his brother to some X . is this valid? what can be the exceptions? . thank you in advance

Quick Summary
This discussion explores the validity of a wife selling her husband's property, potentially with his brother's involvement. Generally, such a sale is only legal if the husband has provided a valid General Power of Attorney (GPA). Without proper authorisation, the transaction is illegal and could lead to prosecution for the wife. Legal advice is recommended to clarify specific circumstances and potential exceptions.

If husband has given GPA then it is legal ,if not go to court of law.

If wife had sold husband's property without his valid authority then it is not only illegal transaction but also a offence for which wife may be prosecuted.
