Wife hacked social media account.

My wife  hacked my whatsapp account & gmail account and she submitted some documents from those accounts in the court in DV case. Also she knows all about my bank transactions. What case can I file against her and will be the procedure. And will she be caught & punished in this. And what will be the punishment.

Reply highly appreciated

Quick Summary
A user is seeking advice after his wife allegedly hacked his WhatsApp and Gmail accounts, using documents from them in a domestic violence court case. He wants to know what legal action he can take against her, the procedure involved, and the potential consequences and punishments she might face. The advice given suggests gathering proof of the hacking to file a complaint with cyber police, as legal action for privacy invasion requires evidence of such illegal acts.

You must have shared your password(s) which resulted in taking your information(s) and use it against you in the court ?

No way Sir.

His advocate who left her told me about her hacking.

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     18 April 2023

Without having evidence for she hacking your social media accounts you cannot take any legal action against her for invading your privacy.

In fact you can give a complaint to the cyber police only about this with the proofs of her such illegal acts.

But in what way that has aggrieved you has to be explained, mere reporting of hacking may not constitute any offence.
