Wife filed false case, with fake address now schedule

Hello experts,

Wife filed false case with fake adress in fir,

All we got bails, and it's almost 4 years. Now honourable judge issued schedule, notices not served due to fake address. Police filed memo by saying " not residing at the adress".

Judge simply cancelled schedule and given next date.

What I can do in this situation?

What I can expect my advocate can do?

Please guide.

Thanks in advance

Indeed, you can move to the high court u/s 482 of the CrPC and file a petition for the quashing of the FIR.

The court upon inspection that the wife had given false address and could not even be reached, and upon considering that a 'long lapse of time' has passed (4 years,) as well as all your other past and current circumstances, shall most likely quash the FIR.
