Wife filed dowry case after divorce exparte

Hi Respected Members,

I filed divorce from my wife on June 2012 which turned exparte on her.She never attended tbe proceedings.She recently filed false 498 on me on Feb 2014.Case is in FIR stage.Police is constantly calling my mother,brother for settlement.Please can you advise what needs to be done.

Challenge the FIR in the court court. You produce the divorce decree in the court

Hi Rajiv Sir,How can I challenge it.Do i again need to engage a new lawyer at my wifes place.This is getting too troublesome for me and my family.

You can get anticipatory bail based on fir. And follow adv. Rajoosadvise

Sir,she has wrongly accused my father,mother and two brothers who never stayed with me.My parents only mingled with her during christmas vaccations.She filed dowry case on all of us after near about 2 yrs and that too after my exparte divorce.I know pretty well that she too does not want to stay with me.

Please advise.
