Which type of company are legally eligible to enforce notice

I am working in a Pvt. Ltd. company. Number of employees in this company is max. 10. They mentioned 3 months notice in their Appointment Letter. This company do not give PF and any type of Insurance to their employee. My question is that Is this company is legally eligible to enforce three months notice to their employee?

You are in which state?

HO/Redg. office of the company is in which state?

Your company must have displayed its registration certificate near entry on notice board.

For EPF coverage the minimum number of employees required for a STATUTORY coverage is 20.

www.epfindia.gov.in

For ESI the required number of employees in your kind of Industry which is covered under SE Act (Shops and commercial Establishment Act) of the state should be 10. The wage ceiling for the ESIC is Rs.15000/pm.

The notice period is part of service conditions and is stated in IESO Act/Model Standing Orders, SE Act and is max. 15-30 days.

If you are not satisfied with the company it shall be appropriate to firm up next venture as ap.
