Whether quarantine leave applicable for Covid + Central Government employee

If any government employee is COVID-19 positive and there have no symptoms within him/her, please inform whether he/she is eligible to be allowed Quarantine leave? or only medical leave will be applicable?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether central government employees in the UK who test positive for COVID-19, even without symptoms, are eligible for quarantine leave. The general consensus is that quarantine leave is applicable in such cases related to COVID-19, rather than standard medical leave. The final decision is often subject to the outcome of the COVID-19 test.

Quarantine leave will be applicable if it is related to Covid-19 and not medical leave.
