What is the meaning of 11 months rental agreement


This is Raj.  I am a tenant and i have rental agreement for 11 months and i wanted to vacant the house in 8th month.  Agreement says that if I want to vacant the house I have to inform before 2 months.  Now do i have to stay 11 months?

How much money has will lose

basically 11 month agreement for non-registering the agreement, so in this valid one for legally , if you want releave from 11 month complete, you may inform to the landlord, and do to so as per your agreement.

Thanks for the reply sir.  I infomed 1 months back. Now he is saying that he will take 4 months amount from the advance.  Is that correct or will i get total advance amount

Dear Krishna,

Unless there is  a stipulation with regard to payment of certain amount of money, you need not pay any amount if you vacate the premises by giving two months prior notice.  The agreement, though registered is valid under law.  Your landlord has no right to forfiet four months rent without any such stipulation in the agreement.  You are entitled to the advance amount.

Dear Krishna,

I have seen the PM sent to me. In order to give you the correct opinion you should send the extracts of the relevant clauses and also the details of the location of the property and whether the agreement is a lease deed or leave license agreement.
