What is the maximum amount of maintenance in india?

Dear Lawyers,

Please tell what is the maximum amount of maintenance in India?

Is it 1/3 or 1/2 of the total salary.....if the fault is of wife but till proved she gets maintenance? How much?

Inian Courts are most relying on women sympathi rather than law so u cant imagine or caculate the maintenance amount and yes need not to say there is fault of wife as it is obvious fact now

Dear Friend,

Every Fraud leaves a print in all illegal activity they do. So be Cautious, Open your Eye & look around. I am sure you will get lots of evidence of their crime. Accumulate those proofs and produce in the court. Yes it is true that the Indian court mostly will be on the girl’s side. But once Solid proof is produced, and then they can not refuse that. Then the court could be on your side. I have seen, in so many cases court reject maintenance request, due to lack of evidence or strong proofs from the boys side….

So, re-think everything & try to find or accumulate proofs against her….

All the Best…..

There is no straight jacket formula for awarding maintenance.

Your income, your expenses, spouse'income, expenses, aher minimum needs

it depends

Even if husband claims income tobe  zero still minimum reqd mainteannce will be granted

Inferences are drawn from the statements/plaedings made, conduct, appaerance etc, honesty of the parties
