I have been going from door to door to get right answer for this. Any advice will be a great help. So briefly this is what my query is.
We have 2 commercial shops in navi-mumbai which is registered under my name, my wife and my fathers name. Me and my wife are NRI based outside india. Recently my father has passed away. My other family is my mother and two sisters who are married. These 2 shops are in co-operative housing society and my father has put my name as nominee. I need to sell these shops but before i do i have been told to clear the title as it has my father name on it.
I have been shown different ways of doing and now i am totally confused. I am miles away from homeland and its difficult to manage this. Can someone please explain me in detail step by step process to deal with this so that i can sell these 2 shops.
