A Family is going through family settlement of property in haryana. father in law is transferring a share to daughter in law voluntrily. my ques is
1 what is the best way gift deed/will coz it shud be non chalangable n shud be with immediate effect?
2 What would be the stamp duty on that being a relative?

transfer by GIFT will have immediate effect, transfer by WILL will have effect only after his death, as regards stamp duty u have to chk with concerned court clerk or advocate
