What is meant by direction of court?

what is meant by 'direction' of court (in a civil suit) ?

when can one ask for 'direction' from a district court and against whom can one file it (against defendant or govt officials not complying with decree)?

what is the procedure?

An order or decree itself is direction of court.

if something is ordered to do or not to do, any breach of such order would give rise to action for breach of order which would be executed by filing execution petition in the same court which it has ordered.
