The Advocates Forum for Social Justice has filed a public interest litigation (PIL) in the Madras high court seeking its intervention to scrap the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The PIL said the Act, made further stringent by the UPA government a few days before of the Lok Sabha elections, is discriminatory as it treated all non-dalits as a class.

You have not stated facts.

However, it appears that :-

(i) you are general category

(ii) your wife is SC.

(iii) there are strained relations.

(iv) she feels there are atrocities against her.

(v) she want no divorce

(vi) she is otherwise not in a mood to tolerate peacefully.

Please confirm if this is true.
