What could be the punishment in the meghalaya honeymoon murder case?

Recent Meghalaya murder case involving Raja Raghuvanshi and his wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, which has left many of us deeply saddened.  Sonam surrendered in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, and is alleged to have hired killers to murder her husband, possibly due to personal conflicts or an extramarital affair.

Given the gravity of this alleged crime, I’m curious about what the legal consequences might be under Indian law.

Wait for the court to decide about it after the trial is completed.

It's too early to say anything.

What is your concern / locus standi to the subject ?

The court shall handover judgment and punish the guilty on the basis of prosecution evidences after it is proved beyond reasonable doubt.

Presently the case is put for media trail, which may (shall) not have effect on the verdict.

Wait and watch
