What are the mandatory things for buying an old house

Hi All,

I am looking for buying an old house, I have figured out couple but before finalizing the one, I want to be sure with legal parts. I visited 2-3 local lawyers but each have different opinions.

Few lawyers asks for few documents then few lawyers others.

Can anyone guide me what is the standard set of documents I must ask from the seller. Also, what are the documents I should search for from my end.
