Vehicle seized in lockdown

What is the procedure the release the vehicle seized during lock down and is there any penalty ? how many dates to attend court (approx). Experts need advice pls

Hello Victor!

As per Sec. 144 of the CRPC Police can seize the asets recovered through out the lockdown period. initally for 2 months (for the lockwdown Period) and if the lock down period extendes then further months but not exceeding 6 months in total from the period when the order of lockdown was passed.

Hope this clarify upto what time line you can expect your vehicle in police custody.
