I have a Diesel car purchased in Jan 2012 and has entered in 10th year of use. Since as per NGT law more than 10year old diesel car is not allowed to be used I wanted to sell/exchange this one. However, got to know from dealers that if a 'Diesel car registered before NGT order and has RC mentioning validity till 15 years, I can continue to use this till 15 years for personal use". However further sale/transfer will not be possible and will have to scrap the car. I wanted to know if this information is correct that I can continue using the car in Delhi-NCR for 15 years as suggested above?
