utilisation of common space for private purpose

           We are 8 apartmentholders.We have undivided common space like 2 terraces and parking area. One of the apartmentholder fixes solar water heater plant for his own need in common terrace.Is this act is permissible according to act?

If it does not disturb the other residents there is no bar for fixing the solar panel, as it can be only placed there. Alternative and renewable energy sources like solar heaters should be encouraged rather than seeing it as a disturbance.

Dear Mr. Sathe,

What is your view for the fixing on the terrace by individual residents for their personal use things like water tank, dish antenna, clothing lines, split A/C unit etc.  Is it also objectionable.  If not, then fixing of solar panel cannot be objected to.  But, if the entire terrace is used by the individual for fixing the solar panel for his personal use, then it is objectionable.
