Does use of latin word in Exams improve the chances of scoring a good marks?? Is latin words and maxims are important??

The use of Latin maxims is like using idioms. They say a lot in a few words. Moreover, they have stood the test of time.
One American judge hated them.
Maxims add colour and simplicity to briefs. But they must be used judiciously. In a multi-lingual country as ours is, they should carry a brief explanation in case there is doubt of their being understood.
To study maxims and remember them, translate each word. That is where the beauty lies. Make your own dictionary. You will enjoy using them.
