URGENT: Transfer of Ownership without Co-owner

Hi,

We are about to get into a sale of our property to which my wife and I are co-owners. My wife is out of the country and we have found a buyer who wants to close the deal ASAP.  What options other than POA can be considered to move ahead with the sale proceedings.

Can the proposed agreement of sale (deed) be sent to my wife at her location (for her signature) suffice for  the transfer of ownership? Would she need any additional formalities to authenticate this process.

This transaction is happening the state of Karnataka

Thanks

you need to get affirmation from your sub registrar office whether they accept POA signed and certified out side INDIA?

ONLY A POWER OF ATTORNEY CAN WORK IN YOUR CASE.  A PROPOSED AGREEMENT WRITTEN ON A STAMP PAPER PURCHASED FROM INDIAN CAN NOT BE SIGNED FROM HER LOCATION.  POA ATTESTED OUTSIDE INDIAN IS VALID PROVIDED YOU GET IT STAMPED BY YOUR LOCAL COLLECTOR OF STAMPS.
