I have a flat in Mumbai, in my Personal Single name . I wish to make it joint with my wife. What is the best economical way to do it.
Or alternatively I can make a will bequeathing the property to my wife.

WILL document is good.

Will is ok but it will operate only after the death of the testator. If you want your wife to be the co-owner during your lifetime then you can make a gift deed and make her the owner of half of the property.
