Hi
I just registered a firm (apparel Business) and am planning to sell products online. Most of the websites mentions that we need to have a VAT / CST to sell products. While registering the business we have received the TIN Number . Can I sell products with TIN Number . Is it the same as VAT/CST or do I need to apply for VAT/CST seperate.

You need both registrations and apply for the same.

You need to have VAT/CST registration besides TIN, consult a local tax consultant.
