NEMCHAND DAS   07 August 2022

The Company(I.T) I am working with not giving me appointment letter even after 2.10 years.

I am working in a reputed software company in Kolkata from last 2 years and 10 months. Generally they provide appointment letter after 6 months but they are not providing me the same. I emailed to HR and ask for the same several times, every time they ignore me saying you will get it next week, you will get it after 2,3 days. I am very disappointed and not able to decide what to do.

Anyone please suggest me what to do.

Quick Summary
This individual has been working at a software company in Kolkata for nearly three years without receiving an official appointment letter, despite the company's usual practice of issuing them within six months. Despite repeated attempts to contact HR, they have been given vague assurances. The advice provided suggests keeping attendance and salary records as evidence and considering a legal notice through a lawyer to obtain the formal appointment letter.

keep your attendance record, salary vouchers safely for further evidence. No need to force to get appointment letter instead get confirmation for job letter

Despite the fact you are getting your salary and allowances as agreed with the company, which is recorded, however, you may issue legal notice through a local prudent lawyer for issuance of formal appointment letter..
