Termination of contract

Can i terminate the contract even if there is no termination clause in it?
If yes, then what are the supreme court and high court judgments on this provision?

If you terminate the contract unilateraly and that too when there is no Termination Clause in the contract, you may be liable to pay damages to the other party.

But if the other party is not performing satisfactorily then you can terminate the contract after giving a due notice to improve or face termination of the contract.

In Case of termination of contract, party at default has to pay damages.

please elaborate on what condition u want to terminate the contract

there may be reasons such as

1. impossiblity to perform

2. or a clause where contract need not to be perfomed

3. change in subject matter of contract

4. Nonperfomance of contract from other side of party
