Technical resignation and repatriation to parent cadre

My technical resignation is accepted from the post of Technical Assistant in Ministry of Corporate affairs w.e.f 09.09.2019(F/N) and join as PGT Commerce in Govt School under Department of Education (DOE) Delhi same day. The Ministry had permitted me to retain lien on the post of Technical Assistant. Now, i want to revert back to my parent cadre, but DOE Delhi has accepted my resignation only (Not Technical). Is it ok for me to revert back with simple resignation or i should insist for Technical resignation from DOE Delhi.
