Tax Deduction

Dear Sir/Madam,

I need to pay a amount of Rs 150000/= to one of my client.

will there be any TDS Deduction on the same if yes then what % amt.

@ Rekha- what is the payment for is there any contract or if it is a professional fees. The Tax deduction liability depends on the nature of payment.

Its for the Legal Services on retainership basis

TDS need to be deducted as this would be classified as Professional fees and is above the threshhold limit of Rs 30,000. Tax to be decusted @10% see S.No-13 table below.

The table got changed while pasting Professional fees limit is Rs 30,000/- not Rs 1,80,000/-
