Surrogate mother - husbands right to consent?

I am UK citizen of Indian origin. My wife is 35 yrs age, is an in Indian and she wants to do surrogacy for her sister. We have a 2 year old child.

Do I, as a husband get any right in allowing my wife to opt for surrogacy? (or) Does Indian law allow any married woman with a child to go for surrogacy for her sister, without any consideration to her husbands opinion?

Your consent is necessary as  it is your family, contact advocate.

The law grants a divorcee or a widow to offer her eggs for surrogacy, on the condition that she is between 35 and 45 years of age.

The law insists on the consent of the husband for this
