Summons for disposal of a suit

Hi Team,

I have a received notice Summons for disposal of suit on a property purchased by me. I have been added to the parties list recently and for the first time I am receiving the notice. If I am presentaing Vakalatnama on the date of disposal of suit is fixed and seeking time to submit written submission. will the court give me additional time to submit ?

Under order 8 rule 1 CPC court can grant time to file written statement upto 90 days from the receipt of summons

You will be allowed 30 days time from the date of service of subject notice to file your written statement.

It is advisable to consult and engage a local prudent lawyer to protect your interest in the property.
