SUCCESSION ACT

is the SUCCESSION ACT ABOLISHED.as I was told just No objection from loved ones is enough ....

l

Quick Summary
This discussion questions whether the Succession Act has been abolished, citing an instance where a flat was transferred to a caretaker's name despite the deceased having a living daughter. The former Dy. Registrar reportedly argued the Succession Act is invalid if no nomination was made, leading to the share certificate being issued to the caretaker. This raises concerns about the validity of property transfers under current laws.
